• Maintain Department Organization and Standards: keep the meat department clean, organized, and customer-ready; rotate stock and remove expired or unsellable products.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing: ensure all merchandise is signed and priced correctly; follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Practices: adhere to food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration date compliance.
• Prepare and Serve Deli Products: take customer orders and prepare deli items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken; use slicers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers and other tools safely.
• Health and Safety Compliance: follow all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule): be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What you’ll do

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards
  Keeps the department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer‑ready at all times.
  Rotates stock regularly and removes expired or unsellable products.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing
  Ensures all merchandise is correctly signed and priced.
  Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Practices
  Adheres to food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration date compliance.
• Prepare and Serve Deli Products
  Takes customer orders and prepares deli items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken.
  Uses slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers, and other tools safely to prepare food, fill display cases, and complete special customer orders.
• Health and Safety Compliance
  Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)
  Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high‑quality service.

• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
