Walmart Canada is seeking a Dairy/Frozen Associate in Gatineau, QC. You will deliver friendly customer service, keep the Dairy/Frozen area clean and well zoned, and support stocking and sales activities to ensure fresh products are always available.

The role requires basic time management, attention to detail, and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Minimum wage starts at CAD 18.75 per hour.

Position Summary

Working as a Dairy/Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to build valuable skills in a fast paced retail environment. What you’ll do

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards Keeps the Dairy/Frozen department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.


• Stock Rotation and Product Quality Rotates merchandise regularly and checks for expired products to maintain freshness and quality standards.


• Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy Ensures merchandise is accurately signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.


• Cold Chain, Food Safety, and Sanitation Adheres to cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, expiration dates, and sanitation and cleaning procedures.


• Merchandising and Feature Maintenance Maintains department features to support merchandising standards and promotional execution.


• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance Maintains a neat, clean, and hazard-free work area by removing debris, spills, and unnecessary items, and by following all Company policies and Health and Safety guidelines.


• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

Handles a fast-paced workload with efficiency, ensuring large volumes of restocking and recovery are completed accurately and on time.

Physical Demands

Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
