Job summary

Walmart Canada is hiring a Consumables Associate in Saint-Romuald, QC to deliver outstanding customer service and keep the sales floor stocked and organized.

You will work as part of a team to move merchandise from backroom to the shop floor, assist customers, and help maintain a safe and clean store environment. Minimum pay starts at $18.75 per hour in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers politely and assisting with product and service information.
• Cover designated areas in the sales floor.
• Perform designated area zoning and merchandise placement.
• Move featured items to main display modules and replenish shelf stock.
• Restock merchandise at the customer service desk and other areas as needed.
• Assist in cashier coverage to support checkout operations.
• Coordinate with teammates to ensure coverage at the cash area.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and obstacle-free work environment by following company policies and completing safety checks.
• Properly stock and unstock goods, secure displays, and set up new shelves.

What you'll do

• 1. • 8. Contribuer à un environnement de travail sécuritaire, propre et sans obstacles grâce au respect des directives et des procédures de l’entreprise, y compris en remplissant les registres des balayages de sécurité et en s’assurant que les présentoirs sont sécurisés.
• 9. Stocker les marchandises et les sélections, et les déstocker s’il y a lieu. Installer des dispositifs de sécurité sur les articles, au besoin. Installer et remplir les modules, y compris les modules flexibles, et mettre en place de nouvelles tablettes.
