Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a General Merchandise Associate in Mascouche, QC. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and maintaining an organized, customer-ready sales floor across general merchandise.

You will support stocking, merchandising, safety, and floor coverage, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required. The minimum pay starts at 18.75 CAD per hour.

• Deliver an Excellent Customer Experience by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving customer concerns.
• Sales Floor Coverage and Team Support by covering assigned areas and assisting with Front End coverage as needed.
• Merchandising, Zoning, and Recovery by zoning areas to keep the floor clean and organized, moving feature merchandise to modular locations, and processing recovery merchandise from various areas.
• Stocking and Modular Execution by stocking merchandise and picks, completing downstocking, applying product protection, and setting modulars including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance by maintaining a safe, clean, hazard-free environment per company policies and ensuring displays/fixtures are secure.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Deliver an Excellent Customer Experience
Provides friendly and professional customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving or referring customer concerns as needed.

Sales Floor Coverage and Team Support
Covers assigned areas of the sales floor and assists with Front End coverage when required. Communicates with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained and customer needs are met.

Merchandising, Zoning, and Recovery
Zones assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized sales floor. Moves feature merchandise to its modular location and processes recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.

Stocking and Modular Execution
Stocks merchandise and picks, completes downstocking as required, applies product protection when needed, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance
Maintains a safe, clean, and hazard‑free work environment by following Company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.

Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)

• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runssmoothlyand customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

Physical Demands

• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
