Responsibilities

• Greet customers politely and with courtesy.
• Process all transactions quickly and efficiently, including demagnetizing merchandise according to the SEA program.
• Promote company programs, i.e., credit card services, product protection and charitable campaigns.
• Help customers load their groceries into bags and then into their cart.
• Ensure safe work practices, including when lifting merchandise and keeping the workspace clean.
• Maintain cash handling integrity by handling money carefully, following company guidelines and being aware of surroundings.
• Refer, when applicable, questions about service and transactions to a customer service manager.
• Show customers how to properly and efficiently use self-checkout and assist as needed.

What You'll Do...

• Accueillir tous les clients poliment et avec courtoisie.
• Traiter toutes les transactions avec rapidité et efficacité, notamment en démagnétisant les marchandises selon le programme SEA.
• Promouvoir les programmes de l’entreprise, c’est‑à‑dire les services de cartes de crédit, la protection des produits et les projets caritatifs.
• Aider les clients à mettre leurs marchandises dans les sacs puis dans leur chariot.
• Veiller au respect des pratiques de travail, notamment lorsqu’il s’agit de soulever des marchandises et de la propreté de l’espace de travail.
• Maintenir la sécurité et l’intégrité des caisses en manipulant l’argent avec diligence, en respectant les directives de l’entreprise et en étant conscient de l’environnement.
• Transmettre, le cas échéant, les questions relatives au service et aux transactions à un gérant au service à la clientèle.
• Montrer aux clients comment utiliser correctement et efficacement les caisses libre-service et les aider si nécessaire.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.75.
