Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Campus Talent Acquisition Lead, North America to join our team.

Reporting to the Global Head of Campus Talent Acquisition, the Campus Talent Acquisition Lead, North America will oversee all aspects of our regional Campus strategy to attract the best and the brightest talent to the organization. The role will enable the attraction of diverse talent and develop talent pipelines for Hatch through coops, internships and new graduate opportunities. The role can be located in our Mississauga headquarters, Montreal office or Pittsburgh office.

As the successful candidate, you will:

Execute the campus strategy, providing high volume full cycle recruiting support across Canada (Western Canada/Eastern Canada) and the United States through the Campus Talent Acquisition Specialists.

Oversee the day-to-day recruitment operations of 4 Campus Talent Acquisition Specialists.

Serve as the primary point of contact for educational institutions and the business.

Plan and participate in campus events including Career Fairs, Information Sessions, Case competitions, Classroom presentations, and Conferences.

Act as a trusted advisor and work closely with internal stakeholders to establish a tailored recruiting approach at designated school(s) to achieve skill requirements.

Serve as a “Brand Ambassador” to expand our external footprint to build the Hatch Brand through social media and other channels.

Execution of Student and New Grad Engagement model to enhance employee experience.

Assess sponsorship requests and determine level of engagement.

Provide reporting on campus analytics.

You bring to the role:

6-10 years of full cycle, high-volume campus recruitment experience; preferably for engineering or technical students and graduates.

3-5 years of experience leading small to mid-sized teams preferably in campus recruitment.

Current knowledge and understanding of best practices including effective approaches to attraction, recruitment and selection in the Campus recruitment space.

College or university degree in Human Resources, or related field preferred.

Proven ability to manage high volume campus recruitment in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

A continuous improvement mindset, always striving to improve the candidate, client and recruiter experience.

Experience defining and tracking success and KPIs on campus program initiatives.

Able to handle and manage conflicting priorities with high attention to detail, accuracy, follow-up and follow-through skills.

Strong business acumen and understanding of key business drivers.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships and rapport quickly and deliver outstanding internal and external service.

Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically: see, understand, and support the big picture, while also executing specifics on the ground alongside the team.

A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside and/or coaching diverse people and perspectives.
