We’re seeking engaging Campus Security Guards to provide outstanding service to customers, employees, and clients, while assisting with traditional security challenges. Your protective nature and attention to detail will be vital to our success. Here, your work is valued as much as your individuality, and you will be supported in all your efforts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring security and safety of property, clients, and employees
  • Welcoming and acknowledging patrons according to company standards
  • Providing access control for the property
  • Performing patrols and reporting hazards and deficiencies
  • Completing detailed incident reports
  • Using security equipment such as radios, cameras, printers, computers, and electronic lock systems
  • Operating as part of the Emergency Response Team
  • Reporting accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis situations
  • Logging actions in an electronic Shift Activity Log
  • Exposure to Fire, and Life & Safety systems
  • Working all shifts, including holidays, weekends, nights, and evenings
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

  • Experience in a high-paced, customer service environment
  • Ability to thrive under stress
  • Valid provincial Security Guard Licence
  • Valid First Aid, CPR Level C, AED certifications
  • Knowledge of Municipal, Provincial, and Federal statutes, including Trespass to Property Act
  • WHMIS and safety courses are assets
  • Experience with CCure and IndigoVision preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
