The Campus Recruitment and Talent Development Team is part of the Global Human Resources group at Scotiabank and is responsible for attracting and developing future Scotiabank leaders. We are a crucial partner to the business, and we assess, select, and develop diverse early talent from around the world. Developing this talent is at the core of what we do at Scotiabank, where the focus is on customization and strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Canadian Banking Campus Leader and responsible for managing end-to-end campus talent acquisition activities, including creating and executing on-campus strategy.
  • Build and maintain a diverse talent bench of candidates across various geographies through all stages of the recruitment funnel.
  • Leverage technologies to assess and track candidates, manage relationship management, and offer management.
  • Help create and deliver presentations on and off-campus, plan and execute events and large-scale conferences.
  • Manage social media deliverables.
  • Manage relationships such as working and negotiating with key vendors and internal business leaders, and provide support and mentorship to members of the Campus team.
  • Perform heavy to moderate travel (by car, rail, and plane) within Canada to various universities and colleges; occasional international travel.
  • Work beyond typical 9-to-5, including evenings and weekends due to on- and off-campus events.
Qualifications
  • Experience in campus recruitment preferably a year or more; however, we can teach, so college-level skill oriented.
  • Strong organizational, creative, enthusiastic, friendly, and positive outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and relationships simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication in both French and English.
  • Competitive, driven, innovative, and loves people.
