Job summary

A leading security services provider is seeking a full-time Security Officer in Squamish, Canada. In this role, you will ensure safety at a large camp, conducting patrols, inspections, and emergency responses. Candidates must hold a BC Security License and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. This position offers a daily rate of $268.80-$288 for 12-hour shifts with accommodations provided during work periods.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• BC Security License required.
• Physical ability to stand and/or patrol for the majority of a shift.
• Ability to interact and build strong working relationships.
• A passion for being active in all weather conditions.
• Experience in leading emergency situations.
• Basic proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct access control and verification checks.
• Perform inspections and searches of persons and vehicles.
• Conduct random mobile and foot patrols.
• Enforce traffic regulations and policies.
• Attend and lead security incidents and emergencies.
• Collect statistics on security activities.
