A leading educational institution is recruiting Camp Counsellors for its summer camp aimed at children aged 4-12. Candidates will be responsible for fostering a safe and engaging environment through participation in various activities and addressing camper needs. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or be a student in post-secondary studies, have Standard First Aid and CPR Level 'C' certification, and be 18 or older at hire. Prior experience working with children is highly valued. This role is for summer employment from June to August, with competitive pay.
Status: Summer Employment (June 2026 - August 2026)
Hours: June - 35 hrs/week, July & August - 42.5 hrs/week
Home Campus: Fennell
Rate of Pay: $18.00/hr

Mohawk College is currently recruiting for Camp Counsellors, Mohawk Summer Camp.
This position will report to the Camp Coordinator and will be responsible for ensuring campers have fun in a safe and nurturing environment over the course of our 8-week Summer Camp in July and August for ages 4-12. Counsellors must diligently enforce camp rules and safety protocols to mitigate risks to campers, fellow counsellors and the community; must be able to deal with camper behaviour and act a role model to campers.
