Job summary

Civeo Premium Services Employees LP in Faro, Yukon is seeking a result-driven Journeyperson Plumber/Gasfitter to support preventative and corrective maintenance of plumbing systems at the Tse Zul camp. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role covers installation, inspection, and modifications in a remote camp setting.

The position offers a 14 days on/14 days off rotation with flights from Edmonton, Calgary or Vancouver.

Qualifications

Journeyperson Plumber Certificate and Red Seal required.
Class B Gas Fitter License with experience in commercial kitchen equipment.
Class 5 driver's license and clean abstract.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read drawings and blueprints; safety tickets required.

Responsibilities

Conduct timely inspections, testing, and reporting of equipment defects and deficiencies.
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and gas systems in remote camp rooms and kitchen setting.
Read and interpret blueprint drawings and specifications.
Contribute input for planned and scheduled work, and assist with completion according to schedule.
Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and graded.
Confirm all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes, as well as environmental protection requirements in the province of BC.
Supervisory roles and responsibilities may also be delegated as and when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
