Job summary

Mackenzie Investments is seeking a Summer Intern in Calgary for May–August 2027. The hybrid role offers hands-on exposure to research, reporting, and finance in a top Canadian asset-management firm.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program and able to return after internship.
Interest in a career in finance or asset management.
Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Research, build proposals and reports, and present findings to senior management.
Review business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, including AI opportunities.
Assist with project work aligned to business initiatives and marketing campaigns.
Support sales with fund comparisons, pricing and performance research, and territory planning.
Understand wholesale investment sales model and assist the sales process.
