Job summary

High Tech Genesis Inc. is seeking a PCB Layout Engineer to support the development of high-quality printed circuit board designs. You will produce complete documentation packages, perform component placement and routing, and work with cross‑functional teams to resolve design issues.

The role requires 5+ years of PCB layout experience and proficiency with Cadence Allegro and other PCB CAD tools. You will verify layouts using ODB++ and ensure manufacturability and DFM compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Technology or CAD; 5+ years PCB layout experience.

We are looking for someone that will support the development of high‑quality printed circuit board designs by producing complete documentation packages, executing component placement and routing, and collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams.

In this role, you will:

• Create complete PCB documentation packages.
• Perform component placement and detailed routing based on electrical, mechanical, and thermal requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to resolve design issues.
• Verify layouts using ODB++ and ensure DFM compliance.
• Proficient with Cadence Allegro and other PCB CAD tools.
• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Technology or CAD; 5+ years PCB layout experience.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and effective in team environments.
• Strong manual routing skills and knowledge of constraint management.
• Understanding of PCB design processes, high‑speed routing, impedance control, stack‑ups, EMC/EMI, and manufacturability.
