Job description

Responsibilities

• Advise on all aspects of employment law compliance, workplace policies, hiring, terminations and employee relations across multiple provinces.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, offer letters, confidentiality and non-competition clauses, and contractor arrangements.
• Support workplace investigations, accommodations, performance management, and disciplinary actions to ensure consistent and compliant practices.
• Assist on workplace planning, restructurings, and risk mitigation related to employment standards and labour relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of employment law experience in Canada, preferably gained in-house or at a national law firm advising corporate clients on workplace and HR matters.
• Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
