A leading engineering firm in Canada is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Designer for their Aviation team. This role involves preparing high-quality CAD drawings and BIM models for airport infrastructure projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with design standards. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in civil engineering technology and proven experience in CAD and BIM design, particularly in aviation or large infrastructure projects.
WSP is currently seeking a CAD Designer to join our growing Aviation team. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented and collaborative individual with experience in developing high‑quality civil design drawings for airport infrastructure projects. You’ll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team supporting the design and delivery of airside and groundside projects across Canada and internationally.
The Aviation group at WSP provides a full spectrum of services including runway, taxiway, and apron design, stormwater and drainage design, airfield lighting layout, terminal area development, and airport master planning.
Salary range (in British Columbia): $82,900 - $114,000
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
