This full-time, career-oriented position is with our growing, dynamic engineering team. We seek a CAD Administrator to work in a flexible role involving engineering and design across various technologies within the oil, gas, and chemical sectors. You will be part of the Oil & Gas team based in Brampton, ON.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Work with the project team to develop, implement, and monitor CAD design standards and procedures to meet project requirements.
  • Assist the project team in resolving technical issues, providing training, oversight, and solving CAD system and quality issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiencies and recommend best practices.
  • Train and supervise CAD users in core application skills and standards.
  • Maintain documentation records of design deliverables.
  • Foster positive relationships within the organization, with vendors, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project documentation and contracts comply with client standards.

What your experience looks like

  • At least 7+ years of practical experience.
  • College diploma in a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of AutoCAD, CADWorx, SolidWorks, NavisWorks, and SmartPlant software.
  • Experience with 3D CAD development and rendering is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in the engineering or construction industry is preferred.
