Job summary

Cactus Tree Inn in Oliver, BC is hiring a Hotel Housekeeper to maintain guest rooms and public areas to high standards. This role offers flexible hours as part time or full time, with pay ranging from CAD 19.00 to CAD 25.00 per hour and vacation pay of 4%.

No prior experience required as training is provided. You will perform cleaning duties, restock supplies, and respond to guest requests at the motel location.

JOB DETAILS

Salary: $19.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) /
Terms of employment: Permanent employment / Part time or full time (14 to 40 hours per week) / Shift
Benefit: 4% Vacation pay
Starts as soon as possible

WORK SETTING: Motel / Inn (Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.)

TASKS

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Handle and report lost and found items
• Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
• Provide basic information on facilities
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
