Job summary

Prysmian is seeking Production Operators at its Prescott, Ontario facility to operate equipment in various stages of cable manufacturing. Success requires following instructions and safety rules to deliver quality, compliant parts.

Applicants should have at least a high school diploma and preferably 3 years of experience with complex machinery, plus familiarity with ISO 9000 quality systems and attention to detail. The role demands physical stamina and teamwork in a rotating shift environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 9000 quality systems in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment according to instructions and safety requirements.
• Maintains inventory accuracy by labeling and tracking material discrepancies.
• Keeps the workplace clean and organized to ensure efficient processes and defect-free products.
• Packages finished parts according to approved methods and standards.
• Maintains quality records and prepares Certificates of Quality as required.
• Collaborates with team to meet productivity goals and improve processes.
