Job summary

CFP Léonard-De Vinci in Saint-Laurent seeks a passionate cabinetmaking teacher to train the next generation. You will plan, deliver, and assess theoretical and practical activities, guiding students in woodwork, furniture design, and workshop practices.

You will ensure safety, contribute to center projects, and collaborate with industry partners to support learners’ skills, autonomy, and employability in a stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in cabinetmaking, furniture manufacturing, or architectural cabinetry.
• Strong mastery of wood transformation techniques and related materials.
• Knowledge of modern equipment, machine tools, and manufacturing processes.
• Interest in knowledge transfer and supporting students.
• Ability to work in a team and develop partnerships with businesses.
• Organized, autonomous, and committed to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver the theoretical and practical teaching activities.
• Teach skills related to woods, materials, assembly methods, furniture design, and workshop drawing.
• Evaluate learning and monitor student progress.
• Ensure health and safety compliance in workshops.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment and participate in meetings.
