Hunter Bond is seeking an elite C++ Software Engineer in Montreal (Hybrid). You will design, build and own greenfield ultra-low-latency systems that directly influence trading outcomes.

The role emphasizes performance, safety and scalability, using C++ and Rust to push the boundaries of low-latency computing. You will work with world-class engineers on trading platforms and matching engines, tackling challenging, high-throughput data problems in a cutting-edge environment.

Qualifications

• 2–7+ years in a performance-critical software environment.
• Proficient with modern C++ (C++20/23) and systems programming concepts.
• Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, concurrency.
• Experience building reliable, low-latency, high-throughput systems.
• Academic background in CS/Math/Engineering advantageous.

The Role:

Our elite buy-side clients are looking for a highly talented C++ Software Engineer to join an experienced tech team. This is an environment where engineering excellence is the product. Performance is measured in nanoseconds, and your work will directly influence trading outcomes

About You:
