A leading mining and energy company is seeking an experienced C&P Lead to oversee contract and procurement activities across Capital Sustaining Construction Projects. The role involves managing end-to-end contract processes, ensuring compliance, and delivering strong commercial outcomes. Candidates should have significant experience in contract administration within mining or civil construction, with a strong understanding of commercial obligations. Fortescue is seeking an experiencedC&P Lead to support contract and procurement activities across our Capital Sustaining Construction Projects portfolio. This role is responsible for leading tendering, contract award, and post-award administration while delivering strong commercial outcomes, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with Fortescue governance frameworks.
Lead and support end-to-end contract processes including tendering, evaluation, award, and administration
Review and endorse contract documentation in line with Fortescue policies and procedures
Support contract drafting, negotiation, and commercial strategy development
Manage contractual obligations including variations, extension of time claims, and payments
Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks across projects
Provide reporting, analysis, and advice to support informed contract and procurement decisions
Significant experience in contract administration within mining or civil construction environments, including SMP or EIC works
Strong understanding of commercial, contractual, and statutory obligations
Demonstrated ability to manage high-value and high-risk contracts
Tertiary qualification in commerce, construction, business, law, or similar (desirable)
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
