What you'll be doing

You’ll be joining Capital Markets Technology, CRM, Banking, Finance and Adjudication team. As an Application Developer, you’ll actively participate in developing, testing, and supporting the implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems and help build and deploy tools. Within a team of developers, you’ll broaden your technical skills and help build the bank of the future. You are responsible for leading the technical design, development and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems and provide enhancements to existing technologies. The role works on complex issues involving one or more technical areas, mentoring employees, and performing tasks of advanced technical depth and breadth.

How you'll succeed
  • Design and development - Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches.Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.

  • Programming Skills -Develop code and test computer programs for straightforward assignments. Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including coding, testing, and debugging

  • Planning and Coordination -Effectively interact with stakeholders, end users, business analysts, and technical resources to gather requirements, prepare design specifications, and provide technical support for applications.

  • Communication and Relationships - Build strong relationships and partnerships with technical team members, business team and peers. Demonstrate very strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Who you are
  • You can demonstrate experience of 3-5 years in hands on software development with C#, Azure API management, Azure Functions, and Microservices Architecture. 3+ years of experience with MS SQL, preferably with exposure to PostgreSQL Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns, ideally using SOLID Design principles and Agile methodology. Deep knowledge of Database design, stored procedures, and functions. Proficient in Docker for containerization, with additional experience in OpenShift or Kubernetes. Solid understanding of automation and DevOps practices, particularly with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Knowledge of Serverless Functions within Azure. It is an asset if you have experience working in Capital Markets client group. Experience with Java and Python. Exposure to other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
