A public educational institution in Alberta seeks a Buyer’s Assistant for an 18-month term. This role involves providing buying support, tracking orders, and ensuring timely supply delivery. Please Note: This is a temporary position for 18 months.
The Buyer’s Assistant is an integral member of the shop AT NAIT procurement team providing buying support to our Learning Materials Specialist and Merchandise Specialist buyers. As directed, this position will be responsible for compiling and analyzing supply needs for the procurement team, helping to build out POs and tracking orders as required.
This role is also required to provide graphic design support for custom orders. The position will help liaison with other areas of our operations to ensure supply requirements are met and delivered in a timely manner and assist with the maintenance of online webstores. We are looking for a creative and professional individual to join our team and provide outstanding customer experiences.
This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement.
