Job summary

Innova software Services Inc. is seeking a Buyer I to independently manage a portfolio of suppliers and purchase orders, ensuring supply continuity and contract compliance in a technology and hardware manufacturing environment.

This hybrid role in Montreal requires proactive supplier management, ownership of material availability, and collaboration across planning, manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams. Bilingualism (English/French) is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage purchase orders end-to-end from requisition through delivery.
• Monitor supplier delivery commitments, track performance, and manage shortages, past dues, and recovery plans.
• Support program requirements, new product introductions, and RFQ/sourcing activities.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with planning, manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams.
• Escalate critical supplier delivery and quality issues while ensuring compliance with sourcing strategies and negotiated agreements.

Job Description

Position Summary

The Buyer I independently manages a portfolio of suppliers and purchase orders while ensuring supply continuity, contract compliance, and operational execution. This role requires proactive supplier management, ownership of material availability, and resourcefulness across all operational levels within a technology and hardware manufacturing environment.

Note: Bilingualism (English/French) is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and manage purchase orders end-to-end from requisition through delivery.
• Monitor supplier delivery commitments, track performance, and manage shortages, past dues, and recovery plans.
• Support program requirements, new product introductions, and RFQ/sourcing activities.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with planning, manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams.
• Escalate critical supplier delivery and quality issues while ensuring compliance with sourcing strategies and negotiated agreements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: DEC/Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field. (Procurement/Supply Chain certifications are an asset).
• Experience: 1 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, planning, manufacturing, or logistics.
• ERP System: Experience with Oracle is strongly preferred.
