  • What You’ll Do Here:
  • Accountable for project procurement plan and on-time delivery.
  • Responsible for the procurement process in SAP.
  • Negotiating low-value contracts with vendors and service providers.
  • Adherence to Aecon's preferred supplier sourcing footprint.
  • Accountable for driving towards zero exceptions in the procure to pay process.
  • Real time solution of price, delivery, account assignment, material, and service-related exceptions.
  • Actively participates and aids in the development of vendor improvement plans.
  • What You Bring to the Team:
  • An undergraduate degree in Business Administration or Engineering preferred.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks within a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Advanced communication skills demonstrated through previous experience in the following contexts: multi‑disciplinary project & program meetings, technical reviews with solution provider / vendor / supplier and subject matter experts.
  • Experience in program management would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to interpret process flow charts to understand what data is captured and how it travels between various applications.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with professionals within industry and internal clients.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Attention to detail, mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Solid research skills and commitment to continually learn about new products / technologies / processes.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
