We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to support the development and implementation of our client’s supply chain strategy for nuclear components and services.

This role will play a key part in optimizing supplier relationships, driving purchasing efficiency, and supporting overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Supply Chain team in the development and execution of a comprehensive Supply Chain strategy for nuclear components and services.
  • Gather, analyze, and report metrics to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of purchasing operations.
  • Conduct spend and commodity analysis to identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Apply sound business acumen in communications and negotiations with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Manage contract administration, supplier agreements, and negotiation processes to ensure compliance and value delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience working with product and service providers or other supplier-related interfaces.
  • 2–3 years of experience in commodity management.
  • Experience in contract management and negotiations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • 1–2 years of experience using SAP ERP (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain practices, procurement methods, and supplier management principles.
  • Buying experience in the nuclear industry is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
