Job summary

A leader in nuclear energy is seeking a Buyer in Ontario to join their team and contribute to the development of supply chain strategies for nuclear components. This full-time position involves collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers, alongside performing commodity analysis. Candidates should have a background in business finance and relevant experience in supply chain management. The role offers opportunities for remote work and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of directly related experience.
• Good knowledge of assigned organizational area.
• A CPM Certification is preferred.
• Experience dealing with contract management and negotiations.

• Support the Supply Chain team in developing and implementing a strategy for nuclear components.
• Gather and report metrics to assess purchasing operations effectiveness.

• Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Displays business acumen in communication with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
