What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Generate, process, and maintain provider and member correspondence for preservice and concurrent review
  • Ensure timely processing of correspondence tasks in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Update and maintain correspondence templates based on regulatory inquiries
  • Coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting activities impacting the denial process
  • Assist with compliance and turnaround time (TAT) logs for all correspondence notifications
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of related experience, including basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of the denials process and medical record information
  • Proficient in written English language
  • Advanced computer skills and ability to multitask across different systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience as a CNA, CMA, Radiology Tech, Sonography Tech, or with coding certification
  • Previous experience in denial management, appeals, or utilization management
  • Strong typing accuracy and punctuation skills (90% and up)
