Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in Toronto for a hybrid work arrangement. You will leverage Jira, Confluence and Visio to map processes and support system modernization.

The role requires 5-8 years of project and systems analysis, plus Agile experience. You will partner with business teams, translate requirements into detailed specifications, and manage traceability across design, development and deployment.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of project and systems analysis experience.
• 2+ years Agile project experience.
• 2+ years with business rules and data model/mapping.
• 2+ years with Confluence and JIRA tools.
• 2 years diagramming experience with Visio.
• 2 years understanding databases (e.g. execute a query) and reading basic Java code.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with business and across internal stakeholder groups.
• Provide technical leadership and work in close partnership with various partners and stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and validate current state technology capabilities/ecosystem and support stakeholders to design the desired future state.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications considering non-functional requirements.
• Own and manage the traceability of system requirements through design and development, testing, and deployment.
• Promote innovation by applying subject matter expertise to generate forward-thinking ideas.
• Support implementation and post-implementation planning and activities.
• Participate in quality management reviews, in particular reviews of the designs, prototypes.

Qualifications
