Position Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst with hands‑on experience in Earnix Rating and Analytical platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the implementation and optimization of Earnix solutions for pricing, rating, and personalization.

This position is hybrid, requiring 2–3 days a week in any CGI Atlantic location: Halifax, NS; Moncton or Fredericton, NB; Stratford, PE; or St. John’s, NL.

Your future duties and responsibilities
  • . Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to rating and pricing strategies.
  • . Analyze and model business processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimization using Earnix.
  • . Configure and support Earnix rating engine components including Price‑It and Personalize‑It.
  • . Translate business needs into functional specifications and work with technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • . Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for changes in pricing models or regulatory requirements.
  • . Provide training and documentation for end‑users and stakeholders.
  • . Monitor and report on Earnix system performance and recommend enhancements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  • . 5+ years of experience as a BA / BSA in financial services, insurance, or banking.
  • . 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Earnix Rating and Analytical platforms.
  • . Strong understanding of rating engines, pricing strategies, and actuarial concepts.
  • . Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and visualization platforms.
  • . Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • . Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • . Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning models.
  • . Familiarity with regulatory compliance in pricing and rating is nice to have.
  • . Good to have Earnix certification or formal training.
