Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets / Liquidity Management

Akkodis is partnered with one of Canada's leading Banks to recruit a Business Systems Analyst to join their Capital Markets – Liquidity Management team here in Toronto.

As a Business Systems Analyst specializing in liquidity, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the bank’s liquidity management processes align with regulatory frameworks. Your expertise will drive the design, enhancement, and implementation of critical systems while bridging the gap between business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business and system requirements for Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), and Net Cumulative Cash Flow (NCCF).
• Collaborate with stakeholders across risk, finance, and technology teams to align on objectives and solutions.
• Develop and execute SQL queries of simple to medium complexity to analyze and validate data independently.
• Support the design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements or new functionalities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (such as FR2052a) while driving process improvements and efficiencies.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in Capital Markets, with a focus on liquidity management (knowledge of Canadian / US markets and regulations would be an asset).
• Hands‑on experience and knowledge with LCR, NSFR, and NCCF frameworks.
• Experience with liquidity reporting standards (such as FR2052a or similar).
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write and execute queries independently.
• Exceptional communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset for cross‑functional problem‑solving.
