QuickContractors.com, a division of Metro Supply Chain, is one of North America's fastest growing companies. We specialize in managing residential home improvement projects on behalf of most major Big Box retailers.
The Business Relationship Manager reports to the Regional Service Director and will play a pivotal role in driving the success of QuickContractors.com by managing and nurturing relationships with commercial clients and service providers. This role involves coordinating projects, supporting business development efforts, and ensuring the seamless integration and execution of services. The candidate will be responsible for enhancing client satisfaction, driving business growth, and maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, providing value-added advice and ensuring client needs are prioritized.
- Oversee and ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables, coordinating between clients and contractors for smooth project execution.
- Maintain thorough documentation throughout project lifecycles and produce progress reports for stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues that arise during projects to minimize disruptions.
- Communicate plans, actions, risks, and issues with key stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Work closely with multiple teams, including the Regional Service Managers, Service Coordinators, Client Care Representatives, Project Management teams, to ensure day-to-day activities align with overall business goals.
- Support QuickContractors.com team in crafting and executing strategies to enhance market presence and client satisfaction.
- Collect and communicate market information, competitive data, and industry trends to inform business strategies.
- Develop and implement process flows and service levels to meet client needs and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in the formulation and negotiation of client and commercial quotes, ensuring favorable terms for QuickContractors.com.
- Support the onboarding of new clients and service providers, ensuring smooth integration into ongoing operations.
- Develop and execute a call plan for clients, identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and introducing value-added services.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide technical assistance and ensure client requirements are met.
- Update and maintain databases of contacts, relationships, and project details.
- Contribute to the development and execution of long-term strategies that enhance QuickContractors.com’s role in the market.
- Prepare and present documents, proposals, and presentation packages to clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing environments, timelines, and client needs.
- Identify early warning signs of problem relationships and take proactive steps to protect and enhance business interests.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 3 – 5 years of experience in relationship management or a similar role.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with expertise in Excel, Word, and presentation software.
- Proven experience in project management, sales, and marketing.
- High sense of urgency and results-driven mindset.
- Understanding of social media platforms and their use in business development.
- Experience in the construction, home improvement, or retail industry is preferred.
