A leading financial services firm in Toronto is seeking a Business Readiness Analyst to facilitate the implementation of platforms and onboarding processes in North America. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in the financial or fintech industry and will possess strong analytical and presentation skills. As a Business Readiness Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful implementation of new platforms, services, and client onboarding across the North American business. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Service Delivery, Production Support, Risk & Compliance, and Finance. This role blends strong analytical and operational skills with an ability to design and deliver clear, effective presentations for leadership stakeholders. You will assist leads in compiling, organizing, and presenting data related to project milestones, readiness tracking, and operational handoffs.
Business Readiness & Implementation Support
Lead and support business readiness efforts for new platform launches, client onboarding, and service migrations across North America.
Leverage deep knowledge of the North American financial services industry including operations, project delivery, regulatory compliance, and risk management to assess the business impact of new solutions and ensure readiness across all support functions.
Participate in client and internal workshops to analyze requirements and identify potential gaps in operational capabilities or regulatory obligations.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and SMEs to shape scalable target operating models, define end-to-end processes, and ensure alignment with risk and compliance standards.
Be a key player in the documentation of business processes, development of procedural guides, and creation of knowledge transfer materials to ensure successful service handover to operational teams.
Work closely with the Migration team to define cutover plans, manage in-flight transaction handling, and coordinate day-one readiness activities including user access provisioning and third-party connectivity.
Proactively engage with Operations, Service Delivery, and Risk & Compliance teams to ensure control frameworks and readiness measures are implemented prior to go-live.
Participate in post-production warranty support, including issue triage, root cause identification, and resolution tracking, to ensure a smooth transition into steady-state operations.
Assist business leads in compiling data for internal and executive-level presentations related to delivery milestones, risk tracking, and operational readiness.
Create professional-quality presentation decks using PowerPoint and other tools to communicate project status and business impact clearly and effectively.
Maintain and contribute to regular business readiness reporting provided to the COO and senior leadership.
Attend and, when needed, host business readiness and project calls to ensure alignment across teams.
Help log, track, and escalate project risks and dependencies in collaboration with business SMEs and project managers.
3+ years of experience in the financial services or fintech industry
Solid understanding of Canadian Wealth Services operations is highly desirable
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially:
PowerPoint (for presentation design and executive reporting)
Excel (for data manipulation and reporting)
Visio (for process mapping)
Experience with JIRA and Confluence in project environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Familiarity with change management or business transformation frameworks
Experience supporting system migrations or platform launches in regulated environments
