JOB OVERVIEW

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic strategic and results‑driven professional to join our team in the role of Business Process Analyst.

Reporting to the Manager Projects, this position is responsible to lead and coordinate business process documentation and improvement initiatives, empowering staff and driving effective long‑term change aligned with organizational goals. Contribute to strategic and quality planning to ensure ongoing process excellence.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Conduct stakeholder assessments and analyze the impact of changes on processes roles and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather stakeholder requirements and support change management initiatives.
  • Develop and implement communication and training plans for project‑related changes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of change management and business process improvement activities.
  • Identify and address resistance to change and promote a positive supportive team environment.
  • Lead and coordinate business process improvement programs including policy development and staff training.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4‑Year University Degree in related field.
  • 8‑10 years required for Project & construction experience.
  • or has 1‑year direct experience in Performance Improvement (PI) may be considered equivalent.
  • This position will involve Operational Analysis and SCR Coordination.
  • This position will involve working with Asset Suite 9 and Microsoft 365 Suite of Business Applications including Copilot.
  • This position will support construction programs trades staff contractors and interactions with engineering and operation staff.
  • This position offers the flexibility to be based in either Darlington or Pickering.
  • Clear comprehension of Project Management principles Construction practices and Refurbishment of Industrial Facilities.
  • Familiarity with the Chestnut Park Accord Addendum (CPAA) and its application in governing jurisdictional interactions between the Power Workers Union (PWU) and Building Trade Unions (BTU).
  • Other duties as assigned.
