The Opportunity

Reporting to the Team Leader, Business Operations, the Business Operations Associate role provides administrative and process coordination support within the Business Operations team, a centralized support function within the organization. This role requires flexibility as responsibilities evolve to meet business needs. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinating schedules and appointments for essential business processes within the Loss Control team, supporting other day-to-day operational processes across the organization and acting as a back-up to the Front Office Ambassador role. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, initiative, effective time management, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Familiarity with the agricultural industry is considered an asset for the role leading to more effective scheduling and coordination of processes on behalf of the Loss Control team.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

As the successful candidate, you will:
  • Engage actively with internal systems, taking ownership of the updating, data entry and processing of system information to support essential business processes
  • Act as a liaison between various functional areas and external parties for the coordination of day-to-day activities and essential business processes
  • Be responsible for learning and effectively executing various tasks within the Business Operations team to support peers, contribute to overall team effectiveness, and ensure business continuity
  • Provide continuous improvement ideas to support process optimization through the development of stronger risk controls and effective workflows to improve service delivery
  • Provide support to organizational projects and initiatives

  • You have post-secondary education and at least 1 year of experience in a structured process-driven role
  • You are detailed-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
