Your Role

As Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining financial reports from Business Central using Jet Reports across all four P&H divisions, collaborating with divisional controllers to meet reporting needs, providing technical support and troubleshooting for Jet Reports users, and ensuring software applications run smoothly with timely resolution of support tickets.

Day to Day
  • Present financial information, analysis, and recommendations to finance leadership.
  • Standardize reporting across all divisions while supporting individual division needs, including setup and maintenance of Jet Scheduler.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, variance analyses, and performance reports to provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Build and maintain end-user relationships by understanding their business and project needs.
  • Contribute to KPI reporting, monthly closings, and the annual budgeting process, including reports for executive review.
  • Create ad-hoc analyses to address evolving business needs.
  • Facilitate Jet Reports training and respond to related support tickets.
  • Assist with Business Central support tickets and perform accounting duties, including reconciliations, journal entries, and problem solving.
  • Balance transactional data between operational and financial software systems and support quality assurance testing for software updates.
  • Participate in/or facilitate stakeholder sessions for root cause analysis and process improvement.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree in accounting and/or 2-4 years of accounting experience
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret conceptual situations
  • High attention to detail
  • Interest in leading and managing people
  • Ability to travel within Canada
