Job Details

Go Powersports Ltd. is growing and requires a General Manager to join their Cobequid Dealership team. You will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the dealership and for the delivery of results while providing world-class customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Communication: Be an ambassador of the company, its manufacturers, suppliers & vendors. Lead the provision of best in class customer service. Lead GPL productivity using the scoreboard, ensuring all departments are hitting their performance metrics. Make meaningful contributions in Leadership team EOS meetings. Manage all teams to ensure goals & objectives are completed. Lead efficient morning team huddles and meetings. Identify resource requirements for the dealership and bring to the attention of executive leadership. Identify staffing requirements and submit staffing requisitions for approvals. Create a great place to work and to develop a career. Support company community presence and involvement in local events. Meet OEM Standards & Code of Conduct. Achieve highest certification for dealership across all OEMs.
  • Management: Manage Inventory. Manage company vehicle & trailer maintenance. Manage training needs and provide support to all departments in the dealership. Maintain the retail environment to meet minimum OEM and Go Powersports standards. Maintain dealership environment to meet Go Powersports standards. Chair the OHS committee; manage the Yarmouth Dealership OHS needs. Complete Opening and Closing procedures for the Yarmouth location, train additional employees to support Opening and Closing. Approve payroll for all hourly dealership employees. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Other duties as required.
Requirements
  • You have excellent verbal & written communication skills and can actively listen to our customers & team members to ensure their needs are understood and are being met.
  • Proven track record of managing teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, innovative environment.
  • Must have proficient computer skills.
  • Familiarity with Google workspace, Monday.com, and Dealership software will be considered an asset.
