The Business Development Technical Specialist willassistin advancing the technical capabilities of our Business Development function under the guidance of the Vice President, Sales & New Markets.

Theultimate goalof this role is to drive sales through enabling our team to connect with our clientsand to supportdata driven decision making through effective reporting.Itprovidesan excellent opportunity for gainingexperience at the intersection of technology, business development, and strategy.

Thisrole willassistin developing andmaintainingautomated reporting tools throughPower BI andour Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software platform, supporting business leaders with actionable insightsthrough report developmentand aiding in the adoption and strategic use of the CRM platformand other technologies.

What You Will Do

• Design and implement automated reporting dashboards and tools within the CRMand/or Power BIto support business development and sales performance tracking.
• Partner with business unit leaders toidentifyreporting needs and translate them into actionable CRM tools and analytics.
• Monitor data quality and consistency across the CRM to ensure reliable reporting and insights.

CRM Adoption & Training

• Assistin training and onboarding efforts for business development staff and broader business units on CRM usage and best practices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and internal advocate for CRM adoption, usage, and continuous improvement.
• Identifyareas for user experience improvement and coordinate system enhancements with internal or external CRM support teams.

Strategic Enablement

• Collect the right data & report on the right data.This will be achieved through collaborationwith the Businessleadersto align CRM tools and reporting with strategic goals and sales initiatives.
• Support leadership in data-driven decision-making byassistingin the development of automated reporting from CRM data.

What You Bring to the Table

• A post-secondary degree inEngineering, Technology,Business Administration, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence toolsorprogramming skills (e.g., SQL, Python, or similar) are an asset for data manipulation and integration
• Experienced working with a CRM systemand/or Power BI would be an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiencywith Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Adobe would be useful
• Highly innovative with an attention to detail
