Job Description

AECOM Canada is searching for a Business Development Supervisor for a full-time, hybrid position based out of Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform extensive strategy and business development for internal and external clients.
  • Plans, organizes and implements business development activities for engineering and construction markets at regional and national levels.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, project management, geotechnical, and multidisciplinary teams to develop capture strategies, prepare proposals, define commercial approaches, and deliver competitive bids.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring effective communication and alignment between clients and AECOM project managers.
  • As Senior Engineer, provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
  • Prepares and deliver technical presentations and innovative solutions to clients demonstrates technical expertise.
Qualifications
  • B.Sc. (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering,
  • 6 or more years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Must be registered as a P.Eng.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering on complex multidisciplinary projects.
  • Preferred to have federal, provincial and municipal government project experience.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
  • Collaborative team player with proven ability to build strong working relationships across disciplines
