We are seeking a highly motivated Smart Solutions Market Development Specialist to drive awareness, education, adoption, and growth of ASSA ABLOY Smart Solutions products and technologies including ACCENTRA Digital, Luxer One, Control ID, Centrios and DoorBird. This role combines technical product expertise, training and education, sales enablement, and business development responsibilities. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for Smart Solutions technologies while delivering training programs, engaging key stakeholders, supporting demand generation activities, influencing specifications, and identifying new business opportunities.
University or college degree or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in business development, technical sales, sales enablement, training, product management, or related roles.
Experience within commercial construction, electronic security, access control, building automation, smart building technologies, or a related industry is preferred.
Demonstrated success presenting technical solutions to a variety of audiences.
Experience delivering instructor‑led training, workshops, seminars, and customer presentations.
Experience working with consultants, architects, integrators, contractors, and end users is considered a strong asset.
A highly motivated, dynamic, and proactive individual.
Strong training and facilitation skills and natural aptitude to engage with internal and external customers (audiences).
Collaborative facilitation style, building relationships with sales teams to support opportunity identification, project development and pipeline growth.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Possess strong business acumen and technical aptitude.
Ability to travel within the assigned territory up to 50% of the time. A valid driving record in good standing.
The estimated expected salary range for this role is $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
