Business Development Representative - Toronto / Vancouver

Overview

Anker Innovations is a global leader in smart charging technologies and a developer of consumer products for the home, car, and mobile life. We are currently hiring top talent for a Business Development Representative role based remotely but based in the Toronto or Vancouver area.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand sales channels in alignment with the company’s strategic goals, including distributors, sales agencies, and specialty resellers.
  • Represent the company at maker fairs and industry trade shows; follow up on sales leads generated from these events and convert them into tangible business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by regularly engaging with key decision-makers and visiting retail locations. Actively participate in client-organized workshops, seminars, and other promotional activities to drive product sell-out and grow the active user base.
  • Support the Go-to-Market team by gathering market intelligence, including competitor analysis, and providing insights to support long-term product strategy.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute local workshops, seminars, and brand-related events.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or above required. Preferably in Business or Marketing.
  • Prior sales experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and interest in engaging with customers.
  • Team player.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Innovative thinker, customer oriented and results driven.
  • Prepared to travel – 20% or less of the time, to regional clients.
  • English proficiency, French and/or Mandarin optional but bonus.
