Venor is proud to partner with The Shaw Group Limited in their search for a Business Development Representative – Landscape – NB & PEI (Bilingual) to join their team in Moncton, NB.

The Shaw Group is one of Eastern Canada’s leading construction product manufacturers and community developers. With over 160 years of history, the company has grown from its roots in clay and tile manufacturing into a diverse group of businesses producing close to 1,000 products across 12 facilities in the Maritimes. Through its Shaw Brick division, the company provides high-quality brick and concrete landscaping products, supported by retail stores in Dartmouth, Sydney, Moncton, Saint John, and Fredericton.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven professional who is passionate about hardscape solutions and takes a consultative approach to sales. The Business Development Representative will build and maintain relationships with designers, contractors, and project owners across New Brunswick and PEI, contributing directly to the company’s growth and reputation for quality and service.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with designers, contractors, project owners, and construction professionals throughout NB & PEI.
  • Identify client needs and provide accurate estimates or proposals for relevant hardscape products.
  • Manage commercial paver and retaining wall opportunities from specification through to completion.
  • Review architectural specifications and construction drawings to determine project solutions.
  • Provide technical support and consultation to landscape architects and contractors.
  • Collaborate across Shaw divisions and retail stores to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Share market insights with production teams to support product development and enhancements.
  • Conduct site visits to meet with installers, provide consultations, and capture successful project outcomes.
What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering, landscape architecture, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in construction, landscaping, or related industries.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to call on architects, engineers, developers, and contractors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal form.
  • Strong understanding of architectural specifications and drawings.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant technical tools.
  • Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is mandatory.
