As part of ZIM Log sales team, you will be responsible for developing ZIM Logistics’ customer base, by promoting ZIM Logistics’ products and services specifically with a focus on "air" or "ocean" freight and all other value added services in the designated territory of responsibility.
Developing long term relationships to create a sustainable, profitable, consistent, and recurrent business. The successful candidate will ensure that ZIM Log meet its business objectives by increasing revenue and gross margin.
Actively seek out new sales opportunities by identifying and pursue new customers in the designated territory.
Making regular sales calls and visits existing and prospective accounts.
Meeting and exceeding sales objectives, by leading and expanding customer base.
Establish strong relationships with prospects' and customers' decision makers, while constantly promoting ZIM Logistics’ products and services
Build up and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing and new suppliers (air / sea Carriers, trucking, warehouse), for pricing ad procurement activities support.
Assist in bringing a satisfactory resolution to any dispute or dissatisfaction issue with customer.
Maintaining Sales Database / CRM with sales activities.
