Job Summary

Reporting to the President, the Business Development Representative is responsible for driving business development by networking and connecting with healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics, and eldercare facilities to generate referrals for home care solutions. They will coordinate and manage referrals within the Waterloo Region area, ensuring consistent growth in sales leads through assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating local marketing & business opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Develops a business development plan for potential referral providers
  • Plans and creates business development opportunities
  • Builds a comprehensive referral network
  • Follows the Qualicare referral system to promote Qualicare services
  • Conducts a minimum of 35 in-person calls per week
  • Establishes working rapport with health care professionals and potential referral sources within a designated territory
  • Identifies new business opportunities and creates and builds proposals
  • Manages referral accounts and meets targets with respect to business development opportunities
  • Participates in opportunities to increase social media activity and effectiveness
