Job description
Business Development - Technical Sales

The successful candidate will be based in the Montreal area and responsible for growing business within existing accounts and hunting and developing new business in the province of Quebec. The successful candidate will have a technical academic background ideally in Electrical Engineering or technologist with experience in technical sales. The rep will be responsible for increasing the market share and presence for our computer and vision portfolio of products, custom engineering solutions, and integration services.

Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Build and execute a business plan to grow revenue and take market share in the territory
  • Strong focus on exceeding goals around teritory growth, account devlopment and personal devlopment
  • Able to operate independently and work remotely
  • Local travel required wihin the province with some overnight travel required.
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively from engineering to senior management in a complex, competitive solutions sale environment
  • Ability to understand the customer specific needs at all levels and provide solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex sales and support situations
  • Self Prospecting a must
  • 3 years of successful sales experience in technology, preferences given to automation, machine / computer vision or image processing solutions
  • Preference will be given to those candidate with technical sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or advanced technologists degree or equivalent preferred
  • Strong command of both French and English language, verbal and written.
