Anderson Vacations is seeking a passionate and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role focuses on strengthening our relationships with travel agencies and consortia across Canada, particularly in Western Canada and Ontario. We are expanding our B2B presence as part of our 2026 Sales & Marketing Strategy.

Role Description

The Business Development Manager - Travel is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB, or a remote role, depending on the ideal candidate. The responsibilities include developing and strategic plans to drive growth, building and maintaining relationships with travel partners and clients (conduct targeted agency visits, calls, or virtual meetings per month), and identifying new business opportunities. The role will involve conducting market research, negotiating contracts, and creating proposals to achieve sales targets. Additionally, the manager will collaborate with internal teams to enhance product offerings, deliver exceptional service, and represent Anderson Vacations at industry events and conferences.

  • Experienced in travel or tourism sales (3–5 years as a minimum).

  • You have strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the travel and tourism industry, particularly in North America, Oceania, and the South Pacific.

  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and relevant digital tools.

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field is an asset.
