About the Role
We're seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our client acquisition and retention efforts. This is a pure sales role where you'll be responsible for building our client portfolio, driving revenue growth, and establishing long-term partnerships with organizations seeking recruitment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, prospect, and qualify potential clients across target industries through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach
- Generate and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, consistently exceeding monthly activity targets
- Conduct compelling sales presentations and pitches that demonstrate our recruitment solutions and value proposition
- Negotiate fee structures, service agreements, and contract terms to close new business deals
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual new business revenue targets
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to maximize market penetration
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to generate leads and build brand presence
Client Retention & Account Growth (30%)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their trusted recruitment partner
- Conduct regular business reviews to understand evolving hiring needs and identify upsell opportunities
- Expand services within existing accounts by introducing additional recruitment solutions
- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address concerns to ensure retention and renewals
- Develop account strategies to increase wallet share and secure preferred supplier status
Sales Targets & KPIs
- Monthly new business meetings and pitch conversions
- Quarterly new client acquisition targets
- Annual revenue targets (new business and account growth)
- Client retention rate of 85%+
- Pipeline value and velocity metrics
Activity metrics : calls made, emails sent, meetings booked
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of 3+ years in B2B sales, preferably in recruitment, staffing, or professional services
- Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Strong hunter mentality with experience in full-cycle sales from prospecting to close
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within territory

Compensation Structure
- OTE (On-Target Earnings) : $85,000 - $150,000+ with uncapped commission potential
