Role

Business Development Manager - Quebec (Remote)

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for acquiring new business opportunities and managing existing relationships within the Quebec City region. This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in the surrounding area and available for in-person client meetings and industry events.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business through prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with insurance brokerages and agencies in the territory.
  • Conduct needs analyses to identify opportunities for growth and provide tailored solutions.
  • Communicate product and technology offerings to clients and drive adoption.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account servicing.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to overall business growth.
Qualifications
  • 2–10 years of outside sales experience, ideally within financial services, insurance, or a related industry.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and establish trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce an asset).
