Position Summary

This is a home-office-based position requiring regular travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders to drive long-term growth.
  • Lead and grow a portfolio of national accounts by developing and executing customer-specific business plans.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the Private Label market.
  • Negotiate agreements, manage promotional strategies, and deliver profitable sales growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products and innovative solutions to market.
  • Analyze customer performance, market trends, and competitive activity to develop actionable growth strategies.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and contribute to annual business planning.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of successful experience in Private Label sales within the Canadian retail market.
  • Proven experience developing and growing Private Label programs with major Canadian retailers.
  • Direct experience working with Loblaw is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.
  • A strong track record in account management, business development, customer negotiations, and sales planning.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of customer organizations.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with experience in forecasting, business planning, and delivering results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms; experience with SAP is considered an asset.
  • A highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly to support customer relationships and business growth.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
  • Residence within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is required.
