About the Role

Are you passionate about bringing the future of food to life? Do you thrive on building strong partnerships, uncovering new opportunities, and driving growth across Canada's most exciting foodservice channels? We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager - Foodservice to join our growing team — someone who's ready to sell industry-leading, respected, and innovative brands that are transforming how restaurants, institutions, industrial, and consumers experience food.

What You'll Do
  • Drive new business through strategic prospecting, cold calling, and relationship-building with key decision-makers in the food space.
  • Expand distribution and visibility by partnering with Broadline and Specialty Distributors, Independent Operators, and GPOs.
  • Collaborate on menu innovation, working with chefs, culinary, and purchasing teams to showcase our products' value, taste, and versatility.
  • Leverage and grow distributor partnerships through effective programs, promotions, and joint business planning.
  • Lead and inspire broker networks to execute sales strategies and achieve ambitious targets.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing our trusted portfolio of organic, plant-based, and innovative food brands.
  • Work cross-functionally with global sourcing and marketing teams to introduce exciting new products to the Canadian market.
About You
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience in the food industry — ideally selling to large multi‑unit commercial chain (Limited Service & Full Service), distributors, industrial, and GPOs.
  • Proven ability to open doors, close deals, and build long‑term customer loyalty.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and business development skills.
  • Passion for food innovation, sustainability, and helping customers elevate their menus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically (~25%).
  • French language skills are an asset, but not required.
